Bug Fixes Muskets and Shinobi Teasers
Visible in public clips — still not a reason to throw away your katana.
During the testing wave, Bug Fixes stopped being only katanas. Public videos show musket lines, a shinobi wrap with a shuriken, a firearm on a back, horses, and a drop-hat prompt. Some titles even ask “gun update or bug?” That question is the point of this page. Parent log: patch notes. Parent hub: updates.
The melee description did not delete itself. X, B, E, Q, F, R, G, and = still exist. Guns are an extra argument on a samurai field, not a replacement for how to fight.
What clips actually show
- Rows of red kabuto with muskets in a pink field, sometimes labeled like a unit.
- HUD still offering fist and katana slots.
- A dark wrap outfit, star-shaped prop, firearm silhouette — the shinobi teaser.
- Chat and horses in the same session, which is why “neigh” shows up in screenshots.
- Drop hat as a world prompt, on top of the = bind.
That is enough to put muskets on the loadouts page as A-tier formation tools. It is not enough to write a full gunsmithing wiki.
How to play around them
If you are a katana player:
- Do not 1v1 a whole line as if it were one stance masher.
- Displace on G to the flank. Movement is the anti-formation page.
- Armor plates will not save you from a lane. Plates are a grind trophy on armor.
If you are in the line:
- Face the same way as the row. This is a photograph that also shoots.
- Hats off or on together. The prompt is part of the joke.
- Do not expect the stance bible to matter as much as spacing.
If you are wearing the shinobi look:
- Treat it as a teaser silhouette until a patch names a ninja movelist.
- You still have slot 2. Use it.
Update or glitch?
Both readings exist in the community because the game is literally named Bug Fixes. Our rule: if many public servers show the same musket kit, it is content, even if it is experimental content. If one player has a physics gun and nobody else does, that is closer to a glitch or a script. Do not publish a physics gun as a loadout.
We will not invent fire rates, pellet counts, or reload keys. When the description adds a gun bind, controls will gain a row. Until then, anything you bind yourself is unofficial.
Honor and guns
A bowing musket line is funny and threatening. Honor still applies: do not farm a pray circle with a volley unless you want that server’s reputation. Cinematic mode will make a volley look expensive and will get you killed if you are the one filming from the front.
What we need before we promote guns to S
- A stable spawn method that is not “hope the test server has them.”
- Binds in the official description or a reproducible UI.
- A week where katana players have a known counter besides “leave the lane.”
Until those exist, S-tier remains stance-literate katana on the tier list. Guns are the headline. Steel is the game.
